When the entire product team - including developers - understands ethical guidelines and works closely with a dedicated Ethics Lead, rapid innovation and responsible tech start to go hand in hand, leading to better products.🤗
Thank you for this post! I'm not a part of the workforce yet, but I do think ethics is the most important yet overlooked issue when developing a product. I'd like to know if, in your opinion, a solution would be to have an ethics team, or should the developers themselves address and handle ethical concerns? I tend to think a team of ethics experts is preferable, but I think that only if it comes from within the people actually making the product will the ethical concerns be taken into account...
