Karo Zieminski, AI Product Manager and writer of the Product With Attitude Substack, presented in a bold black-and-white banner reading “Hey, I’m Karo,” with role statements highlighting AI product management, research-first thinking, and community-led building.

Don’t Just Use AI. Build with it.

Here’s what keeps showing up in my inbox, comments, and DMs: people are scared.
Not of AI itself, but of becoming irrelevant because of it.

Product managers, writers, teachers, designers. Knowledge workers.
People who built careers on thinking, now watching tools that appear to think faster.

Learn to build with AI.
Not “learn to use AI tools.”
There’s a difference. That difference is your career.

Using AI means opening ChatGPT, typing a prompt, copying the output, pasting it somewhere, and moving on. That’s consumption.

Building with AI means designing workflows and systems.
Chaining tools. Automating the annoying tasks you'd never put on a résumé.
Shipping tools for yourself and others.
Building the muscle that makes you harder to replace.

This community is where we figure it out, together.

So if you’re already using AI for a few things, and creating (in words, code, or visuals) is your craft, you belong here 🤗

Building Product Isn’t What It Used to Be

“Building product” used to mean sitting inside a product team. PMs wrote specs, designers shipped screens, engineers pushed code.

That world is gone.

Today, everyone can ship. The barrier between "idea" and "something real" has never been thinner.

You don’t need a product title. I’ve watched members of this community with zero technical background ship apps that save their teams hours per week. Curiosity is enough.

Product with Attitude exists because building great things with AI requires more than tools - it requires judgement, curiosity, and a little defiance toward mediocrity. And because the fastest way to grow in this new world is to learn from each other: sharing experiments, comparing notes, and remixing ideas.

People Who Stick Around Here Tend to Become

  • Creators who replace imposter syndrome with learning in public

  • Builders who discover that building is how you become technical

  • People who ship things they’d put their name on

Community

Subscribing means you’ve found your people.

I don’t have an audience. I run a community. The difference matters more than most people realize.

An audience watches, a community participates.
An audience consumes content, a community contributes to it.
An audience is measured in followers, a community is measured in conversations that change how people think.

This is a space where people show up to think alongside me. Curious minds who'd rather learn together than scroll alone.

The post reads: ‘You don’t subscribe to me. You join Product With Attitude,’ emphasizing community over audience, with visible likes, comments, and engagement metrics from the Product With Attitude Substack publication.

A Week in the Life of a PwA Member

  • Tuesday: Skill Swap

Members share their sharpest prompts, Claude skills, and AI workflows. Every contribution gets added to AttitudeVault.dev, our shared resource library. You give knowledge, you get traffic back to your Substack. New members walk into a vault that grows every week.

  • Wednesday: Build Board

Share what you're building this week. The first 6-10 projects get featured in the newsletter, which means your work lands in front of 11,000+ readers who care about building with AI.

  • Thursday: Build with Attitude

A deep feature on one community builder, their project, and the decisions that shaped it.

  • Friday-Sunday: Weekend Boost

We slow down. New members get welcomed, builders share their best post from the week, and the community rallies behind each other's work. Likes, restacks, thoughtful comments. The kind of support that actually moves Substack's algorithm, from people who genuinely read what they're boosting.

  • Everyday:

    • StackShelf: Everything you build can live on StackShelf.app. Your work stays discoverable outside of Substack. People find you through search and AI systems surface you through recommendations. Your shelf compounds while you sleep.

    • Open Floor: Ask questions, share wins, vent frustrations, or just talk shop. No agenda, no format. This is the conversation that runs underneath everything else.

FAQ

Q: What is Product With Attitude, in one line?
A: It’s a community for people who want to build with AI—not just use it—and keep it useful, sustainable, and in service of their goals.

Q: Who can benefit from joining Product with Attitude?
A: Builders, creators, indie hackers, educators, product people, and anyone curious about using AI to create value.

A: So many benefits! And the list is continuously growing! Premium unlocks the full resource library (Guides, Prompt Packs, Automations, and Templates), early access to new tools, private community sessions, and a complimentary Discovery Call to map your next steps. Explore Premium Resources here.

A: Yes, unless a post states otherwise. Please credit Product with Attitude.

Q: What is vibecoding?
A: Using natural language prompts to model, prototype, and build prototypes and products with the help of AI.
