Everything I Can Offer You In Q2.
One year of building in public has turned into a 17K‑member AI newsletter community, three products, and discounts that make your Substack paid subscription a no‑brainer.
When I started Product with Attitude 13 months ago, the goal was simple: learn in public by writing. Push further into AI product building. Research harder.
I was convinced I was writing for Product Managers, because who else would read this?
And then the first REAL writer joined our Community Chat.
I panicked. Was she lost? What could I possibly offer her?
Then an HR executive joined. Okay, two accidents.
Then an engineer. A poet. A teacher. A VC investor. A music producer.
At this point I was speed-running the five stages of grief. Depression (they’ll leave), bargaining (maybe if I post enough prompts they won’t), acceptance (I need help).
I joined a Substack positioning workshop by David McIlroy, one I'll recommend to everyone forever. He was so confident I'd figure this out that I just borrowed that confidence for a while.
Thirteen months in, this newsletter community found its shape. I stopped narrowing the audience and started sharpening the work.
Today, PwA has 17K members, a consistent 42% open rate and exceptional community and survey participation. I’ve built and launched three products for us, shipped and killed 5 more on Gumroad, and now I’m clearer than ever on what brings you here, and what makes you stay.
Learn with us.
Before I get to what’s next — thank you.
You showed up and stayed when I pivoted, experimented and broke things. Some of you helped me fix those broken things. Others have been in Community Chat every single week. You filled out surveys I had no right to expect anyone to fill out.
A reader asked two questions last week, and while I was answering, I realized something.
Question 1: Would you continue writing on Substack if you didn’t make any money from it?
I had to sit with that one and finally landed on: Probably, but reluctantly. And less than I do today.
Question 2: Would you continue writing on Substack if it wasn’t for the community?
This time I didn’t have to think. Hard no.
So Product with Attitude continues to exist because of you.
Everything I Can Offer You In Q2
I’ve been stacking value until I can confidently say that your subscription to Product with Attitude pays for itself.
And I can.
★ AI Learning Paths Tailored to Your Goals.
The engineer I mentioned above didn’t need the same entry point as the writer. Neither did the teacher or the VC investor.
That’s why I built AI Learning Paths tailored to your specific goals, structured tracks from I know nothing about AI to I built products and want to show them to the world. Pick the one that matches where you are, not where someone else thinks you should start.
★ Explore Knowledge Hubs
And if you’re deep into a specific tool or methodology, the Knowledge Hubs for Claude, Perplexity and Vibe Coding go further with curated guides, breakdowns, and workflows you can make your own.
★ Grow Faster With Tools Made For Us
Every product I launch is included in your membership. Past, present, and in progress. You use them from day one.
LinkSwap: Trust-based backlink swaps with other writers. Three minutes a week, real SEO value. Backlinks still matter in 2026 - they help search engines build topic authority and increase the odds your work surfaces in AI-generated answers.
Vault: AI workflows, coding prompts, and automation templates, not a generic prompt dump. Every resource is built by community members who use them in their own work. Named authors. Clear descriptions of what each one solves.
StackShelf: A discovery platform for Substack creators. One link, everything you build, in one place. Currently in redesign using one of Ileana's design prompts.
★ Get Exclusive Discounts
Lenny's Product Pass Alternative
I secure these so you don’t have to:
Newsletters I personally recommend: a curated list with exclusive discounts from writers like Dr Sam Illingworth, Mia Kiraki 🎭 and many more.
Tools built by community members: StackContacts by Finn Tropy, Writestack by Orel, and more shipping every month.
Credits and discounts on tools I use or have tested: Replit, Magic Patterns, Manus, Tally.
For the full list of links and discount codes, go to
Discounts for Members.
★ Learn & Build Together, Not Alone
Our community is unique.
The people, the chat, the collaborations, the events, the weekly rituals. We’ve found our rhythm, and it’s bringing real value to everyone who chooses to participate.
Joining PwA didn't just give me a community, it gave me traction. Karo has a rare ability to connect the right people at the right moment. Since joining, she's introduced me to an SEO specialist who validated my entire product homepage, and a visual branding expert who helped me build a consistent AI-generated avatar for my personal brand. That kind of curated network is hard to find. PwA accelerated things I would have figured out alone — eventually.
Daniel Rusnok - Solo Founder, Founder of Drippery
Joining Product with Attitude was the moment I stopped just critiquing AI and started building with it. Karo’s real gift is making the leap from critique to construction feel obvious rather than intimidating. She is a rare kind of community leader: a champion of voices that don’t usually get the mic, and an educator who teaches by gathering people instead of performing at them. Slow AI is sharper for it.

Where We’re Going
Thirteen months ago this was a newsletter.
Now it’s an ecosystem: learning paths, knowledge hubs, three live products, a community that builds together, and a growing network of discounts that makes the membership math obvious.
In Q3 and Q4, I’m going deeper:
StackShelf v2 with more functionalities
New products voted on by members (first vote next Monday!)
More community-built Vault resources (you contribute, you get credit)
Fresh learning paths for AI agents and automation
A new way I want to test for helping each other grow
Partnerships I can’t announce yet that will turn the discount stack into a Lenny’s Product Pass alternative tailored to AI tinkerers and builders.
The people who join now shape what gets built next.
This Is the Moment
If you’ve been reading for free and wondering whether it’s worth it, this is the post where I make the case.
Everything above. All of it. From day one.
Math Time
The tools and discounts alone add out to $76.56 a month.
And that’s before you touch the research, tutorials, community, and in‑depth articles that do the real work here.
$9.99 a month isn’t just a good deal. It’s a heavily subsidized shortcut that makes your other $60/month in AI subscriptions work.
The price will go up in the coming months. If you join now, you’ll keep the current price for as long as you’re a member. That’s how Substack paid subscriptions work – the rate you join at is the rate you keep.
And if you’re already a Premium member: you already know.
Thank you for betting on this early.
