The GA4 Cluing agent checks Google Analytics 4 every morning and reports only when a metric crosses a threshold you set. It compares the last seven days against the previous seven, matched by weekday. Weekday matching matters more than it sounds. Compare a Monday to a Sunday and you invent anomalies that were never there.
The prompt handles the diagnosis too. Which source moved, which landing page carried it, which conversion event followed. “Sessions down 18%” is a number. “Referral collapsed because one syndication partner dropped the link” is an answer.
This is for solo publishers and PMs who open GA4, get mildly furious at the four-click path to a comparison view, and close the tab again.
Below: the full agent instruction block, the daily analysis prompt, the threshold defaults I run, and the two metrics I stopped tracking.
This Cluing AI agent instruction is a companion resource to my article on using Cluing for AI-powered research, knowledge management, and content workflows.
